We took time today to wish Isaiah well. He will be leaving our classroom for the rest of the year, and will be going to school in Colorado. Isaiah brought some donut minis, and we celebrated his time with us. We look forward to seeing you as you start 5th grade back at H/K, Isaiah!

In Science, students finished studying motion and design in Late February. In the picture, students are showing off their engineering challenge creation of a propeller-driven vehicle. Our latest challenge involved the properties of magnets. Students participated in the Venus Space Station Rescue Project. They used propertied of magnets to develop models to solve a rescue simulation problem. Shortly, we will begin working with electricity.
